A 'drunk' man who climbed up on to the roof of theSydney Opera House put on an unexpected show for the city's visitors this weekend.

The man, who is believed to have been drunk, climbed the buildings sails on Sunday afternoon.

Police spent more than an hour trying to talk the man down with the use of ropes and harnesses.

One of the officers in charge told the Daily Telegraph Australia that, unlike other similar incidents at the iconic building, this had not been a protest.
