When love breaks down - keep yourself in credit

They say that money can't buy you love, but romance can certainly play havoc with your finances, with almost a fifth of Brits (17%) reporting of having seen theirs and their partners' credit ratings negatively impacted by their relationship.

Research from global information services company, Experian found one in eight (12%) people saying they have been impacted by a current or former partner's poor credit rating, while 5% admit that they have had a negative impact on their partners' credit worthiness.
