Video of the day: Gliding through Lake Gardens, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Updated

AOL Travel Facebook fan Nick Josh Karean sent us this beautiful cinematic video, which he took on a recent trip to Kuala Lumpur.

Set in the city's tranquil Lake Gardens, this serene tropical oasis covers 92 hectares and were originally created during the colonial era as a retreat for the British administrators. You can visit Nick's Facebook page here.

Bursting with a huge variety of native plants and flowers including 800 species of orchid, this video captures some of the atmosphere of the area: you'd never know you were in one of the busiest cities in the world.
