A two-headed calf was born in a Moroccan village and has been attracting lots of attention since its arrival on 30 December.

The calf was named Sana Saida, which means 'Happy New Year' in Arabic.

It is a polycephalic, meaning it has more than one head.

Locals have been flocking to the village, 20 kilometres from Fez, to see the animal.

In October, a two-headed calf was born on a dairy farm in America.

The baby cow died two days after its birth.

Vet Dr David Rockwell, who cared for it, said calves with the rare deformity survive just several hours or days.
