A bottle of favourite scent rarely goes unappreciated but perfumes can be pricey, particularly if your loved one has expensive tastes. If you're planning to buy that special someone a fragrance this Christmas, here are some of the deals, offers and cheapest prices available.

If you're not a last-minute shopper, buying online often proves the cheapest option when it comes to scents. Amazon is always worth a price check, and the site is currently offering up to 70 per cent off a wide variety of big name brands including Calvin Klein, Issey Miyake, Hugo Boss and DKNY.

With so many of us buying online these days, high street retailers often go all out to tempt us into stores with free gifts with scents, particularly in the run-up to Christmas.
