Japanese firm in advanced talks

Soft drinks brands Lucozade and Ribena could be swallowed by Japan's Suntory Beverage & Food within days in a deal worth more than £1 billion.

Suntory, which also owns Orangina Schweppes, is believed to be in advanced talks to buy the brands, after owner GlaxoSmithKline put them on the block earlier this year.
