16-year-old boy gored to death by bull at Spanish festival
A 16-year-old boy has died after he was gored at a running of the bulls festival in Spain.
According to AP, the boy was gored in the back and had two operations but died after his massive liver injuries could not be repaired.
The youth was celebrating Saturday's Apostle James feast at Isso, located 200 miles southeast of Madrid.
A 60-year-old man was injured when he was gored in the leg.
Festivals including bulls are common in Spain and are often criticised for their lack of safety.
Almost anyone can participate, even if they are unfit or drunk.
