Video filmed inside Southwest plane captures passengers' experience during crash
A video filmed by a passenger on Southwest Airlines Flight 345, which crash landed at New York's La Guardia Airport on Monday, shows the experience of travellers from the moment the plane approached the runway.
The camera was pointed out of their window and the plane suddenly jerks forward with a loud crash.
The plane soon comes to a stop and a woman is heard screaming for passengers to stay in their seats.
One man claims he sees smoke before the video cuts to a view outside the window of fire officials hosing down the plane.
According to New York Daily News, a woman calls to "keep the doors closed" and passengers are seen standing in the aisle covering their faces with clothing.
Pix11 reports that ten passengers were treated at the scene with minor injuries and six others were taken to hospital with various injuries.
According to the Daily Mail, Flight 345, from Nashville, Tennessee, landed nose first before the landing gear collapsed.
