Policies 'driving workers abroad'

British workers are being driven abroad by the Government's policies, Labour has claimed, as it accused ministers of making "grand claims" about cutting net migration.

Shadow home secretary Yvette Cooper said while net migration had fallen by 72,000, that figure included 27,000 Britons leaving the UK to live abroad while 20,000 fewer were returning home.%VIRTUAL-SkimlinksPromo%
