Helen Flanagan flies home from holiday after boyfriend's blood clot scare

Ex-Corrie actress Helen Flanagan was forced to cut her holiday to Cyprus short when her boyfriend Scott Sinclair was rushed to hospital with a blood clot.

Manchester City footballer Scott was taken to hospital during a training session on Friday when a blood clot was found in his shoulder.

As Helen had flown out to Cyprus on Thursday, she was unable to be by his bedside on Friday and tried to arrange a flight back to Britain on Saturday to be with her beau.

According to Entertainmentwise, doctors treated the clot before it became life threatening.

Helen reportedly flew to Cyprus for a holiday to spend some time apart from Scott, as they had been experiencing relationship problems.

A source told the Sunday People: "Helen wants to spend most of her time soaking up the sun and having a few nights out to try to forget her troubles.

"She flew out the day after the FHM party so even the run-up to her ­holiday was stressful."
