Disneyland's White Rabbit caught on camera swearing at two teen girls
Disneyland's White Rabbit character has been caught up in another scandal, just weeks after being accused of being racist towards African American children.
The Daily Mail reports that a video filmed by the girls' father shows teenager Alexis Carlos tugging on the White Rabbit's tail, before her 14 year-old sister, Jocelyn does the same.
The White Rabbit then turns around and follows her, before swearing at her - even though Disney character actors are not allowed to speak - and shoving her sister out of the way.
In a report for ABC10 News, Jocelyn says that the rabbit held her by the arm and the neck as he told her: "Don't you ever do that again or I will call security, and tell your stupid friend to stop doing it too."
Moments later, Jocelyn's sister Alexis can be heard shouting, "Hey you, get off her!"
A muffled voice, which appears to be coming from the rabbit, then says: "Don't even start your s**t with me."
At the end of the video, the rabbit is seen shoving someone. Jocelyn says: "He turned around and pushed my sister out of the way."
The family say that they didn't report the incident at the time, for fear that they would be asked to leave.
Disney has not confirmed whether the same person was acting as the White Rabbit weeks earlier, when Jason and Amelia Black said that he refused to touch their African American children, even though he had no qualms embracing white or Asian children. The Blacks now intend to use this video as part of their lawsuit.
In a statement, Disney said: "This seems to be a blatant attempt by a lawyer to generate publicity for a case that has no merit. If anything, all this video shows is a family of misbehaving guests deliberately provoking a character for their own malicious amusement."
