Online Boxing Day sales hit new high

A record number of shoppers visited UK retail websites on Boxing Day, according to analyst Experian.

Its figures show that consumers made a massive 113m visits to retailers' websites on December 26, with many apparently using the internet to identify bargains before heading on to the High Street.
