Britons are set to spend £4.7 billion online and on the high street in a post-Christmas spending spree, figures suggest.

Boxing Day sales will total £2.9 billion as four million shoppers descend on the high street while 1.4 million plan to shop online on Christmas Day, according to research by MoneySupermarket.com.
