MPs need to practise what they preach when it comes to pensions

With auto-enrolment taking centre stage in the pensions world it's no surprise that the announcement that there will be a consultation on whether MPs will get to keep their gold-plated pensions, fell slightly by the wayside.

But I think it merits more attention than it has received because it's a very important part of reforming our broken public sector pension system.
