Video of the day: Underwater statue of Christ in Malta

Did you know that there's a statue of Christ 10m under water between the islands of Malta and Gozo?

No, nor did we until we spotted this Youtube video.

Apparently the statue, which measures around 3m and can be found around two kilometres from the coast, was purposely placed there as an attraction for scuba divers.

It was placed on the sea bed to commemorate the 1990 visit of Pope John Paul II to Malta.
