Child-raising costs 'increased 15%'

The cost of raising a pre-secondary school child has risen to more than £90,000, according to new figures.

The average annual cost of raising a child up to the age of 11 in Britain has increased by £1,085 in the last five years, up 15% from £7,222 in 2007 to £8,307 in 2011, the study by Halifax suggests.%VIRTUAL-SkimlinksPromo%
