Jada Pinkett Smith tweets picture of her bikini body

Jada Pinkett Smith has tweeted a picture of herself emerging from the sea wearing a string bikini - in a bid to inspire other women that you can look hot over the age of 40.

The actress, who is 41 in September, looked amazing in a Missoni two-piece and wrote: "To my Forty and over crew! Don't believe the hype... we DO get better with age!"

But Jada obviously works hard to maintain her toned body.

She recently told Shape magazine that she regularly hits the gym at 6:30am, sometimes taking her kids and husband, Will Smith, along with her. She said: "They love to go to they gym with Will and me, but surfing and snowboarding is what we do together as a family for fun."

She also explains that she eats for nourishment rather than pleasure, and says: "I was raised to eat because your body needs fuel for energy, so I eat superfoods."
