Couple caught 'having sex' in front of holidaymakers on UK beach

Everybody has been enjoying the welcome heatwave this week, but some, it seems, have been enjoying it a little too much.

Police had to intervene when parents spotted a couple having sex on the beach in Ramsgate, Kent, yesterday.

Holidaymakers reportedly looked on horrified as the young couple were spotted getting frisky just a few feet away from the play area close to the Great Wall of Ramsgate.

A spokesman for Kent police told the Daily Mail: "We were called to Harbour Parade in Ramsgate - the caller was concerned that the two people were inappropriately touching each other where there were children around playing on a nearby swing.

"We gave them appropriate advice on the inappropriate nature of their activities and they went on their way."

Meanwhile, a recent survey reveals that nine out of ten British women have more sex on holiday than at home, and a third admit that they have had sex on the beach.

However, it seems like Britain is actually the least popular place to do so, with just three per cent favouring it for a frolic.

The survey for travel dating website MissTravel.com found that Greece was the most popular destination for holiday sex, followed by Spain and Italy.
