Emergency landing as passenger attacks Easyjet air hostess

An Easyjet flight from Tel Aviv to London had to make an emergency landing in Cyprus after a "drunk and disorderly" man lashed out at an air hostess.
The plane landed in Paphos on Monday night after the man started shouting abuse at fellow passengers shortly after take-off.
When crew members attempted to calm him, the man lashed out and grabbed the arm of a stewardess, according to thejc.com.
The man, who was believed to have been drinking, continued shouting and refused to stay in is seat, leading the pilot to take the decision to land earlier than scheduled.
Upon landing, Cypriot police boarded the plane and arrested the 61-year-old man, questioning him on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly.
Meanwhile, fellow passengers subsequently endured a two-hour delay as crew dealt with police paperwork.
In an apologetic email to travellers, Easyjet said the delay was caused by "a customer requiring additional unplanned assistance which affected the schedule of the aircraft".
The news comes just days after two passengers were removed from an Easyjet plane on the runway at Southend Airport after they had a fight just before take-off.
Cabin crew had called the airport's control tower after the two men, from Hornchurch, became abusive towards each other, according to the Echo.
Police arrived at the scene, boarded the plane, and removed the two brawling men, who were given £80 fixed penalty notices for their abusive and out of control behaviour.
