UK social care favours rich pensioners

A new report claims well-off pensioners are able to buy the residential care they need, while poorer pensioners have to fight for council-funded accommodation due to local government cuts.

And as council fees ebb, the situation may get worse with only the very needy like to receive adequate support, some warn.
