Anyone looking for luxury accommodation on the Greek isle of Rhodes would do well to check out the Elite Suites at the Amathus Hotel.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the town and the busy main hotel, the 32 luxury lodgings, only recently opened, are designed for anyone looking for a high-calibre holiday: think top-notch service, gourmet food and designer bedrooms.

The Elite Suites take their five stars very seriously, but one word of warning: their crowning glory – a private infinity pool-cum-Jacuzzi out on the deck, with uninterrupted views across the sea to Turkey, may mean you'll never want to leave your room.
