Updated

A group of "urban explorers" has managed to climb the UK's newest and tallest skyscraper, the Shard building in London to take this amazing video.

The "Consolidation Crew" claims to have bypassed the 1,016 ft building's high-level security system on a numerous occasions. Most recently, three of its members climbed nearly 80 storeys to take pictures and videos of the views.

They also appear to have gained access to Britain's highest crane, perched atop the building.

The Consolidation Crew, which according to the Daily Telegraph is made up of middle class professionals, has 24 members. It claims to have gained access to more than 300 buildings across Europe in the past three years, including London's Post Office Tower and the Newport Transporter Bridge in south Wales.

Their aim is harmless: they say they merely to see things "from a different perspective". But the group has come under fire because it raises serious concerns about security in the capital.
