Racing driver Derek Smith is surely one of the most gung-ho in the UK, after nonchalantly declaring "I'll enjoy putting it back together," following the horrific 80mph barrel roll pictured here.

The 58-year-old father of two crashed during a Formula Ford race at Donington Park circuit yesterday.
