How did French driver survive this rock fall?

Ludovic Masciave must be counting his lucky stars after surviving a freak rockfall, where the sales manager's Mitsubishi Shogun off-roader was crushed by a 20-tonne boulder.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, the 36-year old was driving through the Arly Gorge in the French Alps when the accident happened. He was knocked unconscious by the impact and awoke to find himself pinned by the rock, the bottom of the door and the dashboard.
