Triple Eight BTCC deal could equal hotter race and road MG models

On top of the 'dream team' entry to this year's British Touring Car Championship, Triple Eight Race Engineering, who are building and running the MG KX Momentum Racing team may also turn their hand to modifying MG road cars from the iconic brand.

Speaking to Autoblog at the launch of the new BTCC team, Ian Harrison, the chairman of Triple Eight Race Engineering said of the possibility of a Touring car-related MG6 road car: "That's in the plan at the moment; certainly the guys at the MG UK technical centre have briefly discussed that with us.
