Baby polar bear in special care after being rejected by mum in zoo

A baby polar bear born in a Chinese Zoo is being hand-reared after being rejected by her mother.

Staff at Penglai Ocean Polar Region World are caring for the cub in an incubator after she suffered problems with her digestion and breathing.

The cub has also been suffering from severe malnutrition because she has not been able to feed from her mother.

The good news is that her condition has stabilised, and her carers hope that she'll soon be making her first public appearance for visitors...
