Ministers set to confiscate calculators

How have we ended up with a society that is so clueless about money? How can we know so much about football, rugby or Strictly Come Dancing and so little about the one thing that will make the most difference to how you end up living your life?

It might have something to do with the fact that so many people are utterly clueless when it comes to maths. Now ministers have come up with a solution to that: subtracting calculators from the equation.
