China's World Chocolate Wonderland in Shanghai has opened, treating chocaholics to a look at its edible shoe, handbag and car creations made of the sweet treat.

The chocolate Terracotta Army of Chinese emperor Qin Shi Huang (pictured) is one of the most spectacular displays at the theme park and there are classic paintings, porcelain and a river of flowing chocolate too.

Around 200 pieces of art using chocolate as their base are showcased in the theme park, located in Shanghai's Himalaya Art Museum.

The three-month exhibition features chocolate versions of the famous paintings Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains and Along the River During the Qingming Festival.

Inspiration for the designs were taken from around the world and include a Transformers' robot Bumblebee, sushi made from chocolate and a vase that looks like it was made of china. There's also a BMW car, a 100 dollar bill, a pair of white trainers and Louis Vuitton handbags.

As well as admiring the chocolate designs, visitors can get involved by making their own chocolate and choosing different ingredients for the chocalatiers to mix together, like tuffles and wine.

The World Chocolate Wonderland first opened its doors in January 2010 in Beijing and attracted more than 500,000 visitors. There are plans to move the exhibition to Hong Kong next, although details of this have not been released.
