A huge Christmas tree measuring 12.2 metres high made of Lego bricks was unveiled at London's King Cross St Pancras rail station today, getting commuters and travellers in the festive spirit.

The tree, the tallest ever to be made with Lego, took workers two months to build, and was created with 600,000 bricks.

Duncan Titmarsh, the UK's only LEGO Certified Professional, took the honour of placing the Lego star on top of the tree.

More than 1,000 Lego baubles have cleverly been crafted to decorate the 172 branches.
