Scrap wind farms to cut energy bills

Government plans for wind farms are too expensive and should be shelved in favour of cheaper nuclear and gas-fired power stations.

This is the preliminary conclusion from Thinking About the Affordable report from KPMG, which claims the move away from wind turbine powered energy would save an average £550 on our energy bills.
