Lotus secures £10 million Government cash injection

Updated

After reports that Lotus was lagging behind with dwindling sales figures recently, the Norfolk-based manufacturer has received £10 million of Government cash from the Regional Growth Fund to help realise its ambitious five-car future plan and drum up some more business.

The £10 million injected by the generous folk down at HM Treasury will be backed up by £200 million of its own (actually its Malaysian owner, Proton's) cash too.
