Westlife split after making €35m

It's the end of an era. After 14 years and sales of 44 million records worldwide that made them a fortune of €35m, boyband Westlife are to call it a day. The band announced the split yesterday and, while it's said to be amicable, those 'musical differences' also seem to have played a part. Apparantly, there's only so much saccharine pop even some of Westlife's members can take. The group are managed by X-Factor judge Louis Walsh.
