Do capitalism protests signal the end?

Will support for capitalism really collapse? The recent anti-capitalist demonstrations on Wall Street, in the City of London and elsewhere have directed more attention and anger over vast bonuses and 'too big to fail 'corporate profiteering. Leading economist Roger Bootle even claims capitalism could 'disintegrate' should the financial crisis persist. Is it really that bad?
