Video: Tom Cruise's Red Bull lap hits the small screen

At Autoblog UK we have a few simple goals in life – to drive a Grand Prix car at a deserted Willow Springs racetrack under the personal guidance of a former F1 racer and to do a loop-the-loop in a helicopter.

Even though we recognise these are small asks, we reckon it would be pushing it a little bit too much to expect both in one day. But that is what everyone's favourite miniature move star, Tom Cruise, did recently as part of a promotion for F1's arrival in Texas next year.
