Le Mans flag auctioned to raise funds for Japan

The flag that started this year's Le Mans 24 hour race is now set to play a part in helping the Japan earthquake relief fund.

The flag, which is an ornate version of the French national flag and was waved by FIA president Jean Todt to start the famous race, is being auctioned to raise funds to help the victims of the 'quake and the resulting tsunami that took place in March this year.
