Julia Roberts relaxes with her family in Hawaii

Oscar winner Julia Roberts is the latest celeb to head over to Hawaii for a summer holiday.

She took time out with her husband, Daniel Moder, and the couple's three children, twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 5, and son Henry, 4, on one of the South Sea islands' beautiful beaches.

Looking relaxed in a two-piece bikini, the 43-year-old Oscar-winner spent much of the day relaxing under a make-shift tent she made for her children to play in and splashing in the ocean. The proud couple later watched their children learn how to body board.

Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston and Allesandra Ambrosio have all headed to the celeb hot spot in recent weeks.

Julia's latest film, Larry Crown, netted over $60 million at the box office in its first six weeks. However, despite earlier condemning the obsession with beauty as youth as 'shallow', she has recently found herself at the centre of an airbrushing scandal.

The Advertising Standards Agency in the UK banned L'Oreal and Lancome ads featuring the beauty following complaints that they had been digitally altered to make her complexion appear flawless. According to a report in the Mail, L'Oreal admitted certain 'post production' techniques had been used on the image of the actress but insisted the picture was an accurate representation of her 'naturallly healthy and glow skin'.

The actress was reportedly paid around £15 million to be the face of Lancome.
