Peter Andre's dad admitted to hospital on holiday in Spain

Peter Andre's family holiday in Spain's Costa Del Sol has taken an upsetting turn after his father was admitted to hospital for an operation.

Pete was enjoying a holiday with the whole family, including his children, Junior, six, and Princess, four, when his dad Savvas fell ill.

He told Now magazine: 'We were all having a great time but our trip took a turn for the worse as my dad got really ill,' says Pete, 38.

'He was admitted to hospital at the start of the week and is still in there now, poor thing.'

'He's had a minor operation and will need a bigger op when he gets home.' Pete continued.

'I think after the holiday him and mum are going to stay with me for a while before they head back to Australia.'

Let's hope he they still manage to enjoy a bit of fun in the sun.
