Kate and William charter £2m honeymoon yacht

Updated

Prince William and Kate Middleton have chartered a luxury £2 million yacht for a treasure islands tour on their honeymoon.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent a day cruising between former pirate hideouts Praslin and La Digue in the Seychelles.

A source told The Sun: 'It may be the Seychelles but the area is like something out of Pirates of the Caribbean. There are tropical swamps and the most spectacular wildlife you can imagine.'

The upmarket boat, called Sea Stream - said to be the fastest luxury crewed boat in the group of paradise islands - costs a whopping £26,000 a week to hire and comes with its own jet skis and scuba diving gear.

And the royal couple dined like the King and Queen they're set to be, with sushi, Parma ham and other such delicacies on the 2006 Ferretti motor yacht.
