Could the A6 be the car to topple the BMW 5-Series and Mercedes E-Class, well it's certainly the German company's most serious assault on the executive sector of the market.

Design-wise, apart from the intricate design for the headlights it's more evolution than revolution. However, most of the clever stuff goes on underneath. Amazingly, when most cars are gaining weight this Audi is losing it! Alongside the 80kg weight loss it's also 12mm shorter yet has more head and legroom.
