Freestyle approach introduced into driving test

Next Monday sees the biggest change to the UK driving test since the introduction of the theory exam with the advent of the independent driving section.

For a ten minute period learner drivers will be expected to show they can drive safely without any step-by-step instructions from the examiner by following road signs or a series of verbal directions.
