Canadian drivers to be slowed by 3D image of girl playing in road

Canadian drivers could end up having the shock of their lives thanks to a new safety initiative that could cause more accidents than it prevents.

A school in Vancouver is using an optical illusion of a girl playing in the road to make drivers aware that children could run into the road at any time. The image is painted onto the road and is elongated to make it appear as though it is three-dimensional.
