Video: Building the Ford Focus RS500

Watching cars being built on a production line is not normally particularly interesting, but the Ford Focus RS has a complicated relationship with volume construction.

The original RS proved incredibly expensive for Ford to build as the car could not be completed alongside the conventional version.

With the latest Focus even the limited edition RS500 can be finished at the Saarlouis plant in Germany. It might need a bit more attention, but only the vinyl wrap requires specialist help.
