Land Rover to unveil new compact Range Rover

Land Rover will use a star studded event in London tonight to unveil its eagerly-anticipated compact Range Rover.

The car, a production version of the LRX concept, will be revealed to guests at a 40th birthday party for the brand held at Kensington Palace in partnership with Vogue magazine.

As well as seeing the car for the first time, we will also learn the Range Rover's new name. LRX was the codename for the concept that Land Rover revealed in 2008.
