Tesla employees killed in air crash

Updated

Three Tesla employees were killed when their small twin-engined Cessna plane crashed in California last night.

The identities of the employees on the plane, which crashed in East Palo Alto, have not yet been revealed. It's been reported that the plane belonged to Doug Bourn, a senior electrical engineer. While the passengers are all said to be high-ranking Tesla officials, CEO Elon Musk was not on board.

It is reported that the plane hit power lines before losing control and coming down in a residential area.
