A world champion in wax

One week after being made a Member of the Order of the British Empire at the tender age of 23, Lewis Hamilton has been honoured once again. The world-famous waxworks museum Madame Tussauds in London has unveiled a likeness of the youngest Formula One world champion of all time.

"With his determination and stubborn persistence, he has undoubtedly earned a place in the country's affection, and with his fantastic achievement, he definitely merits a place alongside all the other greats," said a museum spokesperson. Lewis Hamilton's figure cost an amazing 160,000 euros to complete. The Formula One star in wax is wearing racing overalls and is carrying his helmet under his arm.
